Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Member Concierge is act as the "face" of the branch. The Member Concierge will ensure that transactions are conducted in a professional, efficient, and accurate manner to ensure member satisfaction. Provides efficient, accurate, and polite service to members and follows policies and procedures while conducting transactions such as deposits and withdrawals. Establishes and maintains effective member relationships by anticipating member needs and providing service that is above the members expectations. Model behavior of engaging and referring members when a need is uncovered that the credit union has the capacity to solution. Be able to identify a members’ financial need and communication personalized and appropriate solutions to fill those needs.
Position Details:
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with rotational Saturdays from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Location: Williston, VT
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for the branch, checking in members as the branch concierge
- Provide member with navigational assistance for online banking and mobile app, assist with seminar registration and updating account security when needed
- Perform administrative tasks and system maintenance related to member accounts
- Maintain proficient knowledge of Credit union products and services
- Identify referral opportunities to other member service experts within and outside of retail
- Build lasting relationships with members by gaining their trust through meeting our commitments, showing empathy, and building rapport
- Work with members to uncover their financial needs and financial goals by having effective discovery conversations
- Provide coverage for teller area when needed
Qualifications:
- One to three years of similar experience preferred.
- Superior customer service skills are essential
- Previous cash handling preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
