Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Queens, NY. This role involves providing compassionate care to long-term care residents during evening shifts, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA program.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Active New York CNA certification.
    • Proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required).
  • Experience:1+ year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in assisting with ADLs (activities of daily living), infection control, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Soft Skills: Compassion, reliability, strong communication, and ability to work in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff.
  • Support meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
