Job DescriptionAdvanced Mission Partners (AMP) a wholly owned subsidiary of SSAI is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Intern to join our dynamic and innovative manufacturing team in Linthicum, MD. As a Electronics Manufacturing Intern at AMP, you will play a key role in providing hands-on electrical manufacturing support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and make a meaningful impact on our manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties:
- Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with the assembly and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to support daily manufacturing operations.
- Help develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting on electronic assemblies and components.
- Maintain accurate documentation for production activities, test results, and quality checks.
- Support inventory management of components and materials used in production.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
- Follows instructions; responds to management direction; accepts personal responsibility for actions, performance, and results; keeps commitments; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
- Attendance/Punctuality: is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
