Scope:

Responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and/or other designated hotel areas in a timely, organized, and detail-oriented manner. Ensures a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that supports guest satisfaction and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel procedures and quality standards.

  • Notify the front desk upon room completion to ensure timely availability for guests.

  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unserviceable rooms to the supervisor promptly.

  • Respond to guest and management requests efficiently and courteously.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked linen cart and storage area.

  • Ensure security and proper handling of keys, equipment, and supplies issued daily.

  • Report lost and found items immediately to the supervisor.

  • Participate in team cleaning and self-inspection programs as required.

  • Respond quickly and politely to guest requests, following up to ensure satisfaction.

  • Present a professional image at all times through proper grooming and attire.

  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Problem-solving and adaptability

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced, physical environment.

  • Frequent use of common household and industrial cleaning chemicals.

  • Occasional overtime may be required.
