Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce proceedings, custody disputes, child and spousal support matters, and prenuptial agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, motions, and other court documents.
• Advocate for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations, ensuring their interests are effectively represented.
• Manage all aspects of casework, from initial client consultations to resolution, while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Analyze financial statements and other relevant documents to address asset division and support calculations.
• Stay informed about changes in family law regulations and legal precedents to provide up-to-date advice.
• Utilize case management software to track progress, deadlines, and documentation effectively.
• Provide empathetic and meticulous guidance to clients navigating sensitive legal matters.• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law, or equivalent experience in another practice area with a demonstrated interest in family law.
• Strong courtroom litigation skills, including arguing motions and negotiating settlements.
• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Familiarity with case management software and other legal tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and professionalism.
