POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail oriented and problem-solving Manufacturing Equipment Coordinator to
join our team. The ideal candidate for the Manufacturing Equipment Coordinator possesses
strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills as well as excellent communication skills, both
written and verbal. The Manufacturing Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for
coordinating equipment calibrations, maintaining and performing equipment PMs, and
identifying and resolving issues with equipment to minimize downtime. This role requires
working cross-departmentally to ensure equipment compliance. This role is essential in
supporting facility shutdown and ensuring completion of activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for coordinating equipment calibrations in accordance with procedures.
· Responsible for maintaining PM schedule and performing equipment PMs.
· Responsible for troubleshooting low level equipment failures and adverse events.
· Update equipment related documentation.
· Work in collaboration with Facilities/Engineering, Validation, and the Manufacturing
departments to ensure equipment compliance.
· Responsible for coordinating with Validation on equipment IOQ/PQ activities.
· Function as equipment administrator and ensure data integrity
· Must be able to successfully pass Aseptic gowning qualification. Aseptic gowning
requires that all skin and hair be covered through wearing the following: Beard/mustache
cover, hair net, hood and face mask, eyewear, jumpsuit, gloves and boots.
· Support facility shutdown via coordination with other departments, ensure completion of
activities, perform walkthrough, etc.
· Must follow all safety regulations and protocols.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· 3 to 5 years of related experience preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry.
· Must have strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
· Must be detail oriented.
Physical Demands
· Must be comfortable standing, stooping, bending, slouching, stretching, and sitting for
long periods of time.
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds at times.
