Avery Partners is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. This position would be full time in the office in Canton, GA. Mon-Fri 8-5pm. This position provides technical support in areas of manufacturing and is responsible for continuous improvement, process development, process parameters/control/optimization and for equipment/technology support. This will require CAD time, lots of standing and pushing and pulling, and must have creative solutions to issues. Must be able to problem solve and think outside of the box. There will be opportunities to make current products more efficient, designing and building fixtures, managing projects, overseeing testing of prototypes, and working with other teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSME), Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Manufacturing background (preferably automotive)
- Processing knowledge to manage projects from quotation
- Experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, Pro/E, CADKey, 3D CAD (CATIA/SolidWorks) PLC, Mitsubishi, Keyence, DirectSoft programming is a plus.
Preferred skills:
- 0 – 2 years of experience with Injection molding and or Metal Stamping (Preferably automotive).
- Project Management skills to manager projects from quotation to implementation.
- Familiar with APQP process
- Processing knowledge to manager tooling trails
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Manufacturing Experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly.
