Location: Onsite Wallingford, CT
Duration: Direct Hire
Salary: $20-55 per hour DOE
DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced candidate with 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Start times range between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with corresponding end times between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. A 30-minute lunch break is included each day. We are looking to pay $20-$55 per hour with overtime to be worked as needed. Some people like overtime others do not. Our toolmakers are offered approximately 10 hours a week overtime if they wanted.Responsible for being able to repair, provide maintenance and troubleshooting of all tools and fixtures. To complete all paperwork and keep all spare tooling in good working order. Perform any other duties as assigned.Key Responsibilities:The candidate must have the following qualifications, but not limited too: All positions at Company require access to information and/or technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other U.S. government security regulations. These laws do not permit access rights to non-U.S. citizens or to other unauthorized individuals. Therefore, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Resident Green Card Holders and/or otherwise comply with ITAR requirements to be considered for a position at Company. • The candidate must have the following physical qualifications, but not limited too: o Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. throughout the work day and perform work requiring frequent stooping, bending, sitting, standing, etc. The candidate must have knowledge of the following duties, but not limited too: To be able to complete all appropriate paperwork; o Read blueprints; o Repair, maintain and trouble shoot all tooling and fixtures; o Keep die history notes, and making changes to prints available to engineering; o Be responsible for keeping spare tooling in good shape and supply; and o To be able to work on tools in presses. Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; • At least five years’ experience in troubleshooting progressive dies.
