McGuire, Fecarotta & Jackson has partnered with a leading international law firm to assist in the search for a talented mid-level Real Estate Associate to join the firms New York-based real estate group. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated associate to work on complex, high-value transactions in a collaborative, globally integrated practice.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate matters. This role offers significant deal responsibility and the chance to work on a wide range of transaction types involving diverse asset classes and capital structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in acquisitions and sales of real estate assets across various sectors.
- Advise on financing transactions, including both construction and permanent loans, for both lenders and borrowers.
- Draft and negotiate documents related to equity investments, joint ventures, and entity formation.
- Support clients in portfolio transactions, as well as work involving real estate investment trusts (REITs) and private real estate funds.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of real estate transactional experience from a reputable law firm.
- Experience with joint ventures, real estate finance, and fund-related work is strongly preferred.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with strong business judgment.
- Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position in New York, NY is $260,000 - $390,000, subject to variation based on factors such as experience level, credentials, and market conditions.
