We’re seeking a Senior Machine Operator to take ownership of one of our core production lines. In this hands-on leadership position, you won’t just run machines—you’ll lead people, solve problems, and ensure that quality, safety, and efficiency are never compromised.
This role is ideal for a proactive operator who thrives under pressure, takes pride in precision, and knows how to bring out the best in a team.
This position would be on 1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:00pm.
What You’ll Do:
????️♂️ Line Leadership & Team Direction

Take charge of daily line operations and coordinate associate tasks to meet production goals.

Serve as the primary decision-maker on the floor—keeping production moving, resolving issues in real time, and escalating when necessary.

Provide on-the-spot coaching and ensure everyone on your line is aligned with process expectations.
⚙️ Production & Machine Operation

Set up, operate, and monitor production line machinery for peak performance.

Calibrate and adjust settings between runs to maintain throughput and product consistency.
✅ Quality Assurance

Conduct in-process quality checks and proactively address deviations or defects.

Ensure only top-quality products make it through the line—every time.
???? Equipment Care & Downtime Prevention

Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment running smoothly.

Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
???? Safety & Compliance

Model and enforce safety standards, proper PPE use, and hazard reporting.

Be a champion of a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
???? Reporting & Shift Communication

Maintain clear and accurate production records and downtime logs.

Communicate key shift updates and handovers to leads and peers.
???? Drive Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement opportunities for process and performance improvement.

Support lean manufacturing initiatives like Kaizen and 5S.
What You’ll Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
-
Prior experience in a line operator or machine operator role—leadership experience highly preferred
-
Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot on the fly

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Clear communicator and effective team leader

Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature changes
