Job Description

Job DescriptionDescription:

We are looking for a DSP to assist an active young man in his early 20s that can be a peer to him, while also helping him grow as a young adult. He would like someone who shares similar interests of being active, attending concerts, going to movies, accessing his community, and entertainment in general. He is motivated and eager to grow socially by engaging with his staff, and others in a variety of community opportunities, as well as 1:1. He wants to increase his adaptability skills to become more flexible when he encounters a change in his plans or routine. He also wants to improve his situational awareness skills to have the happiest, healthy, comfortable, and safest life possible.

He values his independence and is able to complete day-to-day tasks in life but would like to have the opportunity to work with a mentor that can help him navigate a wide array of encounters and environments. He would like to continue to grow in his relationships, employment, and as a whole person and be equipped with skills to help him work through the ups and downs of life, to celebrate successes, and overcome barriers. He values choice and the ability to make informed decisions with the support of his family as needed. He is excited to see what the world has to offer him, and what he has to offer the world!

If you are interested in an exciting, rewarding experience, please consider applying for this opportunity. This connection will be engaging and meaningful for both parties and intended to truly make a difference.
