We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Paralegal Professional to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Compensation:
$55,000 - $63,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues
- Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions
- Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
You're a Fit If You:
- Have 3+ years in litigation (civil/family/probate)
- Know the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure extremely well
- Can work independently and juggle multiple deadlines
- Are proficient in Mycase (or the like), Formbuilder (or the like), Word, and digital court systems
- Thrive in a detail-driven, fast-paced environment
