We are looking for a Wire Rope Sling Fabricator in Pittsburgh, PA to join the Rigging team.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Wire Rope Sling Fabricator to lead workflow, fabrication, testing, and quality control for our company’s product line. This role includes acting as a working Team Lead, ensuring safety compliance, on-time delivery, and a strong customer-first mentality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, high integrity, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Manufacturing/Production of wire rope & chain slings
· Utilizing hydraulic machinery (presses, reeling machine, pull test machine)
· Forklift Operation
· Satisfactorily preparing materials for shipment (prepping freight shipments)
· Loading/offloading trucks
· Keeping an organized/safe work area
· Restocking materials in the warehouse
· Assisting with annual Inventory
· Ability to lift 50 lbs
· Ability to be on feet for extend periods of time
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
· High school or equivalent
· Driver's license, preferred
Experience:
· 3-5 years experience in Wire Rope Sling Fabrication, preferred.
· Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
· Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
· Attention to detail with the ability to direct work and meet customer deadlines.
Communication Skills:
· Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills required.
