Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal with a strong background in Estate Administration? LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Trust & Estate Paralegal for our law firm client located in Baltimore, MD. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional seeking to make a major impact in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting & filing probate and administration petitions; assisting fiduciaries with estate administration.
  • Prepare & file federal (Form 706) and state level estate tax returns, including: asset valuation, beneficiary distribution, and closing letter requests.
  • Prepare Corporate Filings (LLCS, Corps., Foundations, etc.)
  • Draft & file documents necessary for the formation and governance of entities, including related state and federal compliance filing (i.e.: annual reports Beneficial Owner Information reports, etc.).
  • Prepare and file gift tax returns (Form 709).
  • Track client gifting and reporting requirements for gift tax returns and draft & file the same.
  • Draft loan docs, calculate interest & annuity payments.
  • Effectively communicate & coordinate estate planning action items with clients, family offices, accounting firms, and banking teams.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally 3 or years or more of relevant experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certification.

Schedule:

  • Hybrid is ok. Will consider fully remote ONLY FOR CANDIDATES IN THE DMV area.



Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
