A well-established and growing real estate investment and development company headquartered in Coral Gables is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel with a strong background in commercial real estate transactions. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders on high-value deals across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related contracts

• Managing legal aspects of commercial leasing across multiple asset types

• Conducting due diligence for real estate transactions, including title, survey, and entitlements

• Advising on joint venture structures and financing arrangements

• Partnering with acquisition, development, and asset management teams to support strategic initiatives

• Engaging and managing outside counsel as needed

• Staying current on legal trends in commercial real estate and hospitality

The ideal candidate will have:

• A J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in the Florida Bar (or ability to obtain in-house status)

• At least 5 years of experience focused on commercial real estate law

• A background that includes leasing, acquisitions/dispositions, and financing

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives

• Prior in-house experience or work with real estate clients in private practice is a plus
