We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team! New team members will learn to provide hands-on patient care across various settings, focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, and toileting. They will also receive training on maintaining patient safety and skin integrity, infection control measures, client rights, and effective communication skills. As they progress, staff will be trained in skilled nursing tasks, including medication administration and care for the sick or injured.

By the end of your training program, participants will be equipped to deliver safe and high-quality care confidently, collaborating with fellow caregivers and nurses in an environment that values excellence and respect. This position offers invaluable experience for those aspiring to pursue a career in nursing or medicine.

Availability: Open. We will work with what you are available for. Potential for Full time and Part-time positions. We are hiring in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Island counties.

Training Program:You can begin providing patient care while completing your education. Once you finish your certifications, you will be qualified to deliver higher levels of care and will receive incremental raises.

Certifications Included in Program:Complete certifications in Home Care Aide (HCA), Nurse Delegation, Basic Life Support (CPR), Dementia Care, Mental Health, and End-of-Life Care.

Benefits:

  • Starting Rate: $19 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $25 per hour upon completion of certifications.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide hands-on patient care in assigned locations, including in-home, facility, or assisted living communities.
  • Ensure quality care that respects patient rights, dignity, and individuality.
  • Support residents in achieving optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being according to their individualized care plans, reporting any changes to the nurse supervisor.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like grooming, bathing, feeding, and toileting, based on individual care needs.
  • Promote skin integrity by preventing pressure ulcers and applying moisturizers as needed.
  • Handle each patient/client's personal property with respect.
  • Perform delegated tasks such as taking vital signs and applying creams, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Stay adaptable and maintain a client-first attitude in a dynamic work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in providing reliable and high-quality patient care.
  • Carry out additional job-related duties as required.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR) through the state of Washington.
  • A background check must be passed.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required for the position.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • If providing transportation for clients, a valid driver's license and insurance are required.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate is preferred.
