Supervisory Responsibilities:

Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members within the department.

Supervise and coordinate daily operations, including workforce assignments, time and attendance tracking, policy enforcement, and conflict resolution.

Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations for direct reports.

Administer corrective actions and terminations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
-
Ensure full compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage production schedules to ensure all customer requirements and deadlines are met or exceeded.

Analyze workload and determine workforce requirements to achieve efficient task completion.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing leadership to establish production priorities and optimize resource allocation.

Evaluate and enhance the cost-effectiveness and feasibility of production processes; recommend and implement improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.

Interpret engineering specifications and blueprints; assign and oversee work orders accordingly.

Provide technical guidance in SMT soldering, diagnostics, repairs, and quality control using tools such as calipers, gauges, oscilloscopes, and various diagnostic equipment.

Recommend changes in workflow, equipment usage, or work conditions to boost overall efficiency.

Oversee machine setup and adjustments, ensuring adherence to process specifications.

Maintain accurate timekeeping and production records; prepare daily and weekly reports on productivity and downtime.

Liaise with senior leadership to coordinate departmental initiatives and resolve production challenges.

Stay current with production processes across the facility to support cross-functional collaboration and operational continuity.

Identify tooling and fixturing needs to streamline and improve assembly operations.

Provide clear verbal and written instructions to direct reports.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
-
Must have in-depth experience in SMT and PCBA operations. Candidates without SMT-specific background will not be considered.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with acute attention to detail.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
-
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with reporting tools.

Effective communicator, able to convey information clearly in English and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, safety procedures, and process instructions.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Associate’s degree required; bachelor's degree in a technical or management discipline strongly preferred.

Prior experience in production supervision or management within a manufacturing environment is required.
-
Comprehensive knowledge of SMT soldering, screen printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and WAVE soldering equipment.
Pay Details: $57,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
