We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in litigation processes and possess strong organizational skills to manage case details effectively. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with attorneys and support the legal team in delivering exceptional service to clients.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisAdvance and other online platforms to support case preparation.

• Draft, review, and organize litigation documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.

• Manage case databases like Needles or Neos to ensure accurate record-keeping and retrieval.

• Coordinate court filings through portals such as LexisXpress File & Serve and PACER.

• Maintain and update calendars for attorneys, including deadlines and court dates.

• Assist in asbestos and personal injury litigation cases, ensuring all details are meticulously handled.

• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trial, mediation, and settlement negotiations.

• Utilize case management software to track progress and update case files.

• Prepare summaries, reports, and other documents to facilitate legal proceedings.

• Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures throughout the litigation process.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on litigation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience with e-filing and e-service in multiple jurisdictions.

• Experience with court filing systems like LexisXpress File & Serve and PACER.

• Knowledge of case management software, including Needles or Neos.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Experience in asbestos and personal injury litigation is highly preferred.
