*** This position can sit in downtown Los Angeles or downtown San Diego. Either way, 3x/week office attendance is required.


A mid-sized regional law firm with multiple offices throughout California is looking for a Litigation Practice Assistant to join their heavy-hitting trial team. 5+ years of complex civil litigation experience in California is required.

Responsibilities of Role:

· eFiling pleadings in state and federal courts

· managing attorneys’ calendars/litigation deadlines

· preparing for trial substantively

· generating TOAs/TOCs

· formatting legal docs (firm uses CCC macros – this is a must have!)

  • 5+ years civil litigation experience (understands various phases of a case and can jump right in without too much hand-holding) in CA courts. The more experience, the better!
  • Ability to commute to downtown LA or SD 3x/week. Parking is provided.
  • Tech savvy: experience with Macros within Word, and at least some of the following: Best Authority (citations), CompuLaw (calendaring or billing), iManage (case management platform), Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, and/or iPro.
