Prevailance, Inc. is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to serve as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Instructor in support of high-risk training environments. This position plays a critical role in preparing military personnel to overcome the challenges of isolation and captivity while upholding the Code of Conduct. The ideal candidate brings both personal credibility and professional instructional expertise to ensure training remains realistic, impactful, and aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) standards.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved DoD SERE Level “C” High-Risk Course
- A valid SERE Level “C” training certificate with date of completion is required
- A valid SERE Level “C” training certificate with date of completion is required
- Minimum of four (4) years of military service (any branch)
- Attained a minimum rank of E-5
- Honorable discharge
- A copy of DD214 will be required
- A copy of DD214 will be required
- Physically able to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Walk up to 4 miles per day with a 35 lb. rucksack
- Climb multiple flights of stairs repeatedly
- Provide up to 10 consecutive hours of instruction
- Able to pass SERE psychological screening and high-risk training evaluation
Desired Qualifications:
- Navy NEC 9502 (Instructor), NEC 9505 (SERE Instructor), 807A, or completion of Navy Instructor Qualification Course
- Basic First Aid and CPR Certification or Wilderness First Responder training
- Familiarity with U.S. military organizational structure and chain of command
- Working knowledge of military terminology
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
