Job Description
Join our team as a CNC Setup Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the production process on the wood side. You will be responsible for setting up various machines such as saws, planers, and joiners, and making g-code edits on the CNC side. You will also utilize a forklift to pull materials, troubleshoot machines, and act as a backup supervisor when needed.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines including saws, planers, and joiners for production.
- Edit g-code on CNC machines to ensure precise operation.
- Operate a forklift to transport materials efficiently.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and determine when to call maintenance.
- Serve as backup supervisor in the absence of the primary supervisor.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of CNC setup experience.
- Proficiency in making g-code edits.
- Experience in woodworking and machinery operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Forklift operation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Strong measurement and precision skills.

Work Environment
Work in an environment with moving mechanical parts and exposure to dust. This role requires both individual work and teamwork. The workplace is loud enough that hearing protection is necessary. The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 4pm to midnight.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.26/hr.
